About the practice

Why I started this practice

Atlantic Veterinary Practice grew out of a simple but powerful vision: to provide genuinely integrative, compassionate veterinary care in a way that honours both the animal and the family behind them. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of wonderful practices and hospitals in Germany and Namibia, and I’m deeply grateful for everything I learned in those environments. Each place shaped me, challenged me, and gave me the clinical grounding I stand on today. But as time went on, I felt a pull toward practicing in a different way — slower, more personal, more centred on communication, education, and building long-term partnerships with committed owners. I wanted a space where I could slow down, listen properly, and give each animal the time and gentleness they need. A space that felt safe for anxious pets, respectful of owners, and grounded in both science and whole-pet healing. Atlantic Veterinary Practice is the result of that calling — a place designed intentionally, with heart, where the medicine is thorough, the environment is calm, and every patient’s story truly matters.
