I grew up in the small town of Obernkirchen, Germany, and from a very young age I knew I wanted to become a veterinarian. Much of my childhood was spent horse-riding and learning about science, and I was completely focused on that one dream. My parents are both dentists and surrounded me with science and problem-solving every day, always encouraging me to follow my own path.

I trained at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) and the University of Bologna, and for several years I worked in conventional practice in Germany and Namibia. Those experiences taught me an enormous amount and gave me the clinical grounding I lean on every day.

Eventually I grew frustrated that the toolkit in conventional practice leaned so heavily on pharmaceuticals. In 2020 I returned to the integrative side I grew up watching my mother practice and enrolled in my first acupuncture course. That decision changed everything.

Since then I have added certifications in laser acupuncture (CIVT and Dr. Uwe Petermann), integrative nutrition (CIVT), and the WSAVA Advanced Certificate in Pain Management. Each layer has helped me support patients with more nuance, especially seniors and pets with chronic pain.

Today I run Atlantic Veterinary Practice in Walvis Bay, where I see patients in calm consultation rooms and do house calls across Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. Wednesdays are reserved exclusively for home visits, giving anxious pets a quieter way to get care.

Everything I do is guided by the same values that have been with me since childhood.

My goal is simple: to offer calm, thoughtful, truly individual veterinary care that fits into real family life. Whether that is in the quiet of your home or in our practice in Walvis Bay, I want pets to feel safe, owners to feel heard, and healing to feel gentle and possible.
